Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you give free estimates?
A: Yes!

Q: Are you a Better Business Bureau Accredited business?
A: Yes. Check our accreditation status here >>

Q: What is Stamped Concrete?
A: Stamped concrete is created from a slab of fresh concrete. Before the concrete fully dries it is colored and then textured patterns are impressed into the concrete. Patterns can vary from the look of natural stone to tile.

Q: Where can stamped concrete be used?
A: Stamped concrete can add beauty to your home when used for driveways, patios, pool decks, walkways, and sidewalks.

Q: What is the process of stamping concrete?
A: The homeowner will choose the colors and pattern for their project.
On the first day of the job the area will be excavated and formed.
The second day we will have the concrete poured. Before the concrete dries completely the colors will be applied and then the concrete will be stamped.
We allow the concrete to cure for 48-72 hours, then we return to seal the concrete.

Q: How long after the concrete is stamped until you can walk on it?
A: You can walk on the stamped concrete after four to five hours.
After the concrete is sealed wait two to three hours before walking on it.
*Please note we recommend after the sealer is applied for dogs to stay off the concrete for 72 hours, their nails can scratch the sealer.

Q: Does stamped concrete need to be resealed?
A: We recommend resealing your patio four to six months after the initial seal.
Then resealing every two or three years. If you wait longer, you may notice the color fade slightly. Even if the color does fade, resealing your stamped concrete will make your concrete look vibrant again.

Q: How thick will my patio be?
A: Patios, walkways, and sidewalks are four inches thick. Driveways are six to five inches thick.
